Yorkville is a line that has been growing with us tremendously this year. From the very affordable Alto division to the Apex line of microphones and accessories to the Traynor line of great guitar and bass amps and of course, the Yorkville top of the class PA equipment lineup. A bit about each member of the Yorkville family:
Yorkville is a company that, unfortunately, has not been as well known as other PA equipment makers but certainly deserves to be. Started in 1963 in Toronto, Canada, Yorkville has long been an innovator in sound system. Yorkville was a the first to have wedge shaped monitors (1968), stand mounted speakers (1966), 24 channel commercially produced mixer (1969) and the PA Equalizer (1973). This Canadian powerhouse has slowly been building their name in the US through dealers as well as huge commercial installations. When reliability is key, buy a Yorkville, complete with their 2 year (even if you break it) warranty! It's that good!
Alto is Yorkville's lower priced line but don't let that fool you into thinking 'cheap'. Alto uses the designs of the Yorkville line but the cost effective manufacturing of overseas for a reliable, very affordable product. Full PA systems at what you used to pay for just a mixer! EQ's, mixers, monitors, processors at prices that let even the smallest band or studio put together a killer setup without going broke.
Apex is what you want when you want affordable microphones and accessories that aren't throw away. Again, you have Yorkville's team behind the Apex line, giving you quality and affordability. Why pay for a name when Apex has mics ranging from studio quality condensers to drum specific to live workhorse mics?
Traynor rounds out the Yorkville family. Guitar and bass amps that are affordable, built Yorkville tough and not just the 'flavor of the month'. Tube and solid state to choose from. Forget the big, overpriced names, one test of the Bassmaster 800 Bass amp for instance, will leave you impressed and not broke either.
