In York County and the surrounding areas no store has a more respected teaching staff than Campbell's Music Service! Teaching is their full time profession and they take it very seriously all while making it fun. No contracts, either! While their schedules constantly remain busy, there's often times available so please call, 717-741-2634, with any lesson requests. Lessons are $17.00 per half an hour for our private, one on one lesson.
Group lessons are also available occasionally--beginners or advanced students... please call 717-741-2634 for the next session.
Randy Stewart - Banjo, Guitar, Mandolin. Randy started here in 1974 and like all of our teachers has consistently kept a full schedule. No wonder! Not only is it difficult to find qualified teachers for banjo and mandolin but ones of Randy's caliber are impossible to find.
Ray Eicher - Guitar, Bass and Pedal Steel. Starting at Campbell's Music in 1975, Ray has taught half the music community in York at one time or another. Ray starts early in the day and teaches straight on through the evening with a packed schedule. Just about any style of guitar from Metal to Folk.
Rod Goelz - Guitar and Bass. Rod has been teaching for over 17 years. Trained at Berklee and having a Bachelor's degree in Music Industry Studies from Millersville University, Rod brings a lot of fresh ideas to teaching. He is also the author of the 5 volume "BASSES LOADED" electric bass instructional series (from Santorella Publications) available here at Campbell's Music. Rod also teachs the group lessons offered at Campbell's Music. Information on our group lessons can be found HERE. He can also be found making it funky with his band Groove Jones. If you want to know more about Rod, check out his site - www.rodgoelz.com
Don Belch - Guitar and Bass. Don is our latest addition to the teaching staff! Don has been playing for over 20 years and was a music major at Penn State. He is also the guitarist for the popular local band Ninetail, winner of the 2008 Project Independent contest.
